OVERVIEW CORROSION/EROSION ANALYSIS

Corrosion and erosion identification and analysis in the oil and gas, chemical processing, refining and pulp and paper industries has proven to be a major concern. Accurate determination, monitoring and analysis of corrosion type and corrosion rate are critical in terms of process and/or material failure, maintenance and repair costs. Early corrosion detection can eliminate process contamination and insure product quality. Corrosion detection and analysis has a direct impact on system integrity and in pressurized systems or systems handling hazardous materials is a major factor in eliminating potential safety hazards.  The EnviroCam Model F and the EnviroCam CF (Flow Cell) utilize forward lighting that allows for deep viewing and a wide field of view. Units are specifically designed for viewing into transparent liquids and gas while other models are designed for viewing through clear/turbid media to observe a distant surface. Systems are available with manual controls or fully automated articulation, focus and lens cleaning for unattended observation or for use in hazardous conditions. Some models are configured to control process variables. All EnviroCam systems are designed to observe and analyze corrosion growth under operating conditions (in situ). The EnviroCam provides accurate data in real time and eliminates the need to dissemble a system to observe corrosion.
