EnviroCam EL offers in situ (in process) observation and visual inspection of processes or testing that takes place under harsh conditions including high temperatures, high pressures, corrosive atmospheres or in liquids. The EL System utilizes a rugged modular design that can be reconfigured to meet changing requirements. This unique design allows modules to be added to increase the systems capabilities. The EL Series incorporates a borescope (rigid, flexible or articulating), a hermetically sealed shroud with hardened sapphire window and a high resolution digital camera. This instrument provides for data storage, viewing, retrieval, and analysis. The result is a multipurpose affordable optical instrument that fills many in process, testing, general observation and visual inspection applications. The EL Series is available as a complete system or individual components such as borescope, shroud or camera can be purchased seperately.

Applications for the EL EnviroCam include pharmaceutical and biotechnology processes, biofuels, petrochemical, power generation, turbines, boilers, incinerators, cement kilns, combustion test stands, trash-to-steam plants as well as paper, steel and glass installations.
